THE NEW NEW DEAL STRATEGY
This document outlines ten interconnected pillars of a rebuilt New Democratic Party platform:
• A 1950s-era progressive tax structure that funds national investment while reducing the grotesque wealth disparities of the current era
• A China-style national industrial strategy — leveraging AI, robotics, and automation to make American manufacturing cost-competitive with the developing world
• A dramatic reorientation of foreign policy away from military interventionism and toward economic statecraft, with a 70% reduction in America's overseas military footprint
• Universal healthcare access, not as an ideological abstraction, but as a workforce and
economic competitiveness imperative
• A national STEM and education revolution, including free community college, trade
programs, and aggressive university reform
• A populist economic identity that replaces 'progressive' rhetoric with the language of
egalitarian capitalism — building wealth for everyone, not just the asset-owning class
• A revitalized local party infrastructure that actively serves communities rather than
existing merely as campaign infrastructure
• A serious, non-performative approach to immigration and border policy that reclaims
credibility with working-class voters
• Structural government reform, including term limits, anticorruption measures, and
electoral modernization
